Yes, the old poll has been up for weeks and weeks now. I think by this point we've established what browsers everyone are running and we can move on to new and more exciting topics. Here are the numbers on the "Browser" poll... In the past 6 weeks that the poll has been running, 577 of you voted.

I'm very disappointed in the poor showing of NCSA Mosaic users... and Lynx, you guys need to pick up the pace!
Last week I posted a news article about the digital divide, teens versus adults and the conversation in the comment section talked about transitions to the cell phone, technologies like lawn mowers etc. Several people chimed in that despite being in their 40s-50s, they had kept up with every new fangled doo-hickey kids these days seem so crazed over, this despite the expectation that their age would be a hindrance to them more than a help. I myself have written previously on the lack of perspective people seem to have on technology as it advances, forgetting quickly the older, slower days of the past. To me, it seems in general we cater to a slightly older demographic than many communities on the web, and I was wondering how true that impression actually is.
So this week's poll is: "How Old Are You?" An attempt to get at least an approximation of the age range seen on WC.
