From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

It's been a few months since it was lasted updated, so this week I went digging around the brains of our developers and consulted the Oracle of Product Releases to try and build a new list of Stardock apps that are currently, or will soon be, Vista-compatible. The full list is linked below, complete with estimated release dates and some additional info on testing status. Below is just a quick-reference chart that covers the high-points without any of the detail

IMPORTANT NOTE: LogonStudio Vista is currently only available to ODNT subscribers via Stardock Central.  The wide-release version of it is coming very soon.

They can say what they will, but I don't think they intend to release Windowblinds 5.5 x64 at all. I think their skipping it and going for 6.0

What about BootVista?

Like I said in the article, items not on the list are merely not on the schedule for the next few months.  It's still coming, just not in the time-frame of the article.

Is it really useful to add any more energy and developer time to object bar given the number of skins for it here alone ? Just a question, I can't judge upon he popularity of it.

The code base was once the same.  Update one and update the other.

I like RightClick but think that OB has better functionality.  It can do everything RC can do and you don't have to see the desktop (I usually have my desktop covered so a docked bar is faster to get to.)

I always found OBar difficult to manage. But maybe that's just me.

Hey look, I never got corrected on my comment above. How nice.

I'll remember that you guys went to skip 5.5 x64 when it comes time to renew my OD subscription!
