New WinCustomize Subscriber Skin: Rockstar by Stardock Design!

As part of our ongoing effort to give subscribers more bang for their buck, we added professional skins to the subscription package earlier this year. To start things off we released Stardust, a new skin by Adni18. Today we're ready to release another skin, and give you a hint of what's next in the pipeline.

Our second Subscriber-Only skin is Rockstar by community veteran Hippy!

Rockstar turns your desktop into concert stage with the look and feel of classic guitars, speakers and amps. Rockstar comes with 6 great substyles, letting you pick exactly the kind of amp you want. It's the perfect skin for music enthusiasts, especially the rockers out there.

Wonderful Windowblinds skin as well

But the picture on top of the start menu is not for me. I wish there were a simple one. If I have access to the image file, I'll edit the top and leave it simple. Would be nice to add an official one without the speaker on the top.

But I love the skin more than I thought I would

think Think green is going to be a free theme entirely.
We have some cool MyColors suites in the works for ODNT users but they would come out FIRST for ODNT users.

YEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's already loaded in OD. After updated impulse and other software, there it was waiting to be applied

I guess they'll have to make a country and western one.You can't rock without an amplifier.

I really hate to say it...but the window borders really don't seem to fit with the startmenu....which looks awesome. Would have liked to see the same on the borders. I left it on for a day to see if I would get used to it...but it just doesn't seem to fit. Yeah well...what do you want for free.

How nice to see my Korg Tuner and my Mesa Boogie Rectifier Head as part of this skin.

I also think the windows frames don't go with the rest of the theme, Just imoho...

Sometimes they have it set on other windowblinds when you click on the start menu, the animation starts up and disappeares. I would have liked it better that way instead of just the picture seating there making the start menu taller.

I'm still getting this in the Rockstar skin when ever I roll it up and try and move it. It also won't roll back down unless I maximize the the window and then minimize it. Other times it gets all pink around the rolled up skin.

WebGizmos tried this out and on my PC which has windowblinds on found the same as screenshot or could leave pink bars all over the screen.

On Laptop which has not got windowblinds on it it worked fine could roll up and move around ok. lap is vista PC is XP3.

So not just your copy.
