Expect down-time and slow connections during the maintenance window

General Announcement:

Cogent will be conducting network maintenance at several of it's datacenters overnight tonight, including ones where some Stardock Servers are housed. Between 10:00pm on 1/19 and 6:00am on 1/20 there will be brief periods of down-time and slow connections over the course of the maintenance. This down-time will affect all Stardock sites & servers including (but not limited to):

WinCustomize.com
DemigodTheGame.com
SinsOfASolarEmpire.com
Stardock.com
ImpulseDriven (.com & .net)

Additionally, connecting to Impulse may be unavailable periodically during the maintenance window.

Fuzzy Logic

The only thing I have on permanently is the power supply for my Naim NAC 72 pre-amplifier. Some high-end HiFi components like this take several days to 'warm up' and reach their optimum sound quality. It is just not practical to turn it on and off. My NAP 250 power amplifier is firmly off when not in use to assist my finances - when I turn that on the National Grid dims...
