From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

It seems that the article last week was fairly well received, so now we're back with week two!  It was a pretty lean week so it'll be a bit shorter this time around.  Hopefully as the end of summer creeps up on everyone, skinners will settle in and start making and submitting more content for us to pour over.

Now, on to this week's picks...

    A Rainlendar skin,
    Logika2006_RL by neophil78
"For those who like a well rounded theme experience, this calendar will help fill in the gaps for the new "Logika" suite.  This author also made a logon for the new Logika suite."
  • Island Dog (Wizop)
    An IconPackager set,
Dre-S Software Icons 2 by piscdong
"I always like to see icons that are created a little different than what we usually see.  These are unique and well designed.  Great job."

There you have it folks, some of the favorite submissions from the past seven days.  What would have been your picks?

This is a great idea - I missed seeing those Icons. So a recap is a good way to make sure you dont miss anything.

I concur with the House of Slytherin pick. My wife and mom are huge fans of the Harry Potter series (and my wife and I love snakes to boot!); this skin is well-crafted, with nice animation effects and colors that are quite legible. I'm using it on my computer at work and at home right now.

I would like to thank everyone for your wonderfull comments on my Slytherin House theme. I didn't expect my theme would be such a big hit. I knew i was lacking something in my first design of Slytherin House and realized that if i where to continue working with textures that i needed to seperate theme with a good color combination. This i knew i did'not put into my Gryffindor House. Taking the time to understand the in's and out's of Skin Studio and a lot of help from other skinners is making WB skinning easyer and a lot of fun. Thanks again everyone.
