From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

Microsoft UK commissioned British comedian Ricky Gervais to tape a training video on Microsoft's corporate values.  Gervais is best known for his character David Brent, the bumbling, sexist, racist and generally incompetent manager of a branch office for an English paper manufacturer in the BBC comedy series, The Office.  Gervais, along with The Office co-creator Stephen Merchant sit down for a 37 minute segment, approximately the length of one television episode, where they spoof everything held sacred by training videos in general, and has some fun poking fun at Microsoft and programmer stereotypes in general.

The video is broken up into two segments, one 20 and the other 17 minutes.  Follow the link below for what really feels like the "lost episode" from The Office.

Heh heh. Halfway through first one. He's still got it, this is funny stuff!

I think both versions of The Office are great, but Ricky Gervais' David Brent will never be topped. It's cool to get to see more of him.
