From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands
I dub thee Sir Fixit of Computer!

We've seen articles, television shows and interviews about someone being the hair stylist to the stars, the limo driver to the wealthy, and even the parole officer to the convicted.  However, that sort of fame and fortune has been beyond the grasp of most of us lowly computer folks.  Well, no more!  Buckingham Palace has been looking for someone to manage the computer systems across the royal household of Queen Elizabeth II.

So some IT wonk (or wonkette) out there could be the Computer Technician to Royalty!  The job covers roughly 900 users across the country, and comes with a tidy salary of 70,000 to 80,000 pounds (~ $132,000 - $151,000) per year.  The executive search closed October 16th though, so everyone here is out of luck.

But they do have a 30,000 pound/yr opening for a web editor at the moment!
