Most Original Icons, China Dominating, Schedule Updated

Today we announced the winners of the Most Original Icon Package event in the GUI Champs '06. This marks the first major prize of the contest being given away. knightpan won the EVGA GeForce 7600GS video card for taking the gold with his The Mayan Civilization icons (he has a matching WB Visual Style that's currently a finalist for Most Original Visual Style). Also, we started keeping track of what countries our winners are from. So far, China is kicking everyone else's butt! They took the icon events by storm, and it's going to take a lot of work for any other country to pull ahead of them! The breakdown of countries and medals has been added to the sidebar of the competition site and will be updated as events are decided.

Finally, the schedule displayed on the site has been updated for all events remaining through to the end of the competition.

Sounds like your invoking a little patriotism Zoomba? Sounds good to me.. altho, im actually english..living in the united states. I agree though, China is doing very well, I commend them for their concerted effort this year.
