Hundreds of episodes from shows in the BBC vault will be made available via the Azureus Zudeo file-sharing network. Zudeo, a service comparable to Google's YouTube, provides users the ability to upload video content to be streamed over the web. The difference between YouTube and Zudeo is that Zudeo is capable of providing high-definition content. Though to access Zudeo videos, you will need to download software from Azureus.
This new venture will mean US viewers will now be able to get access to previously UK-only broadcast shows such as Dr. Who and Red Dwarf.
No date has been set yet as to when the shows will be available.
