Two interesting Google bits to share with you today. The first is that Google is going to be holding a Worldwide Developer Day on May 31st, where developers can come to Google offices around the globe to back in the Big G's glory, and pick the brains behind one of the most successful Internet companies out there. It's focused on developers only, so if you're looking for the secret sauce that makes the business end so successful, you're out of luck. The event will be held at 10 Google offices around the globe, from Mountain View, CA to Brazil, parts of Europe, Australia and Japan.

Next up is a net survey which finds that Google currently holds 64% of the US search market, making a 5.8% jump from a year ago. Steadily, Google continues to chip away at competitors Microsoft and Yahoo! who have been struggling in recent years to recapture some of their lost market. The survey, conducted by HitWise, based its numbers on the habits of 10 million web surfers. Yahoo! came in at 21.3% and MSN at 9.2%
