DX Step-By-Step #8 - Tool-tip Replacement
RomanDA continues the DesktopX Tutorial series this week with installment
#8; how to do tool-tip replacement in your gadgets. One of the
greatest criticisms of our products is the lack of good documentation and
tutorials. Well, RomanDA is stepping up to fill that gap in the
DesktopX arena by writing up some outstanding tutorials. The series
takes you from novice to guru-in-training, starting with just learning how
to make a basic gadget and moving on through the more complex and arcane
features and functions you can pack into a gadget with DX.

value of Vista is comparable to WinME, it's not nearly the technical
disaster ME was. The contention is that Vista just doesn't have enough
"oomph" to justify the switch.

Office Software Essentials - Pt. 2
IslandDog is at it again with part two of his Home Office Software
Essentials article series. The first part focused on office
productivity tools, security and backup programs, part 2 goes after graphics
and utility programs. Up for evaluation are apps like Photoshop,
CorelDraw, Multiplicity, Nero7 and ObjectDock just to name a few.
