From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

When I say "Desktop Gadget" I mean an actual gadget that sits on your physical desktop.  Engadget has word today that at long last, you can keep a cool, frosty beverage on-hand at your desk whenever you want with a very cool little gadget from a company called Brando.  The mini-fridge is powered entirely by a USB connection to your PC and can hold one 12oz can of your favorite beverage, so it's cold and ready to go when you most need it.  No more walking the 10' to the fridge in the kitchen, this baby eliminates the need for such lower-function activities such as walking.

This technological marvel will only set you back $33, and is actually a great gift for any computer-bound geek in your life.  At the very least it will get a laugh.

It's one of those things that gets you saying, "why didn't I think of that"? Too bad my brother uses bottles or he would of got one.

I'm not trying to rain on a parade . . . maybe after sitting in front of the computer for a while, it may be good to get off an actually move (even 10'). We (USA) are the high up on the most obese list.

btw: a bottle of water rather than JOLT would be good too. . . .
