From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

For two weeks we've run a poll trying to get a feel for the community interest in a live Internet radio show centered around the WinCustomize community and the world of skinning.  The results were largely positive with two thirds of you saying you'd be interested in the podcast in one way or another, either as a listener or as a call-in.  And thankfully only a small handful of you regarded it as the worst idea ever conceived

Here's the visual break-down, as always...

This week's poll is to vote on your favorites in Web Gizmos' Object Dock Background Contest.  There are a grand total of 9 qualifying entries to vote on.  Below are preview shots of each dock.  Select your favorite and vote on the poll above.

I have to agree with both Hankers and Quentin94 on the choices.

I've only tried Object Dock once and really didn't spend enough time with it. Seeing these backgrounds and taking a look a the gallery I'm goint to have to spend some more time trying out Object Dock again.

Good luck to the skinners.

A grand total of 46 votes? I thought surely there would be more than that.

I'll vote a few dozen more times if that will help........

I'm not sure how many people participated in your contest, I would think that all of those would have voted.

Getting the other visitors that venture into the forums to vote for a winner for your contest may prove a difficult task.

As an example look at how many people vote on the weekly polls, surely not anywhere near a reasonable percent of the visitors for the period.

It may well be that we are more of a community here then one would think. Unfortunatley the point I'm trying to make is not a good one. In other words, people always want things within the community but are unwilling for whatever reason to help make them happen. Good Luck, and yes I voted.
