WindowBlinds 6 is a big deal for us here at Stardock.  It represents a major step forward in skinning and what artists can achieve in a skin.  Animations, transparency and blur effects, and more.  Coupled with SkinStudio 6, WindowBlinds 6 is something we're all very excited about here.  To that end, we've been working up a lot of informational content to let you know exactly what WB6 is about any why it's something to get excited about.

Island Dog has continued his outstanding work in developing demo videos by making two WindowBlinds 6 videos showing off the features and improvements.  One video is for Windows XP users, showing off the enhancements we're bringing to Windows XP, and the other is for Windows Vista, showing off how we're improving the newest OS offering from Microsoft

In addition to the videos, we also have a very detailed WindowBlinds 6 Info Guide posted for those interested in reading up on version 6 and what it means.  The guide quickly walks you through the visual differences between XP or Vista standard UI, and what you can achieve with a fully-loaded WindowBlinds skin.  To read the guide, click here.

WindowBlinds 6 Beta is currently available to Object Desktop subscribers, and will be made widely available upon release of the final version in October.

I just renewed my subscription to Object Desktop and I do not see the version 6 beta there. I have the show pre release button checked. Now what?
