From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands
Part 1 - SoundPackager
Published on October 9, 2007 By Zoomba In WinCustomize News

WinCustomize has 50 active galleries at this very moment, that's a lot for anyone to sift through, and lately it's been growing at a healthy rate.  I wouldn't be surprised if many users didn't even know some of these galleries existed.  We cover customization components from forum avatars to animated desktops, and pretty much everything in between.  So, in an attempt to help you find what you're looking for, every week for the next few months I will be featuring one WinCustomize gallery.  I'll cover the software required to use the skins, talk a little about why you should download skins from the gallery, and highlight some of my favorite skins that I think everyone should download.

To start off, I take a look at our newest gallery: SoundPackager

Excellent, like most I have used and applied some of the skins in the gallery. To find out what each is, does and what software is regurired will be like getting some new toys to play with. Thank you.

Also to note.... not sure if all subscribers are aware that you can edit the galleries that you want to view.

The WC galleries and forums are really at the cusp of the Web2.0 concept of having the content dynamic to the user and being an application unto itself.  There are many small useful functions that aren't well known.  Editing the galleries is one of them.  The arrows between the breadcrumbs in the galleries and the diamonds in teh forums are one of my favorite features but I wonder who else knows and uses them.
