I won't be contributing for a few reasons; but, the main reason is I have five pet charities that I've supported for many years, including a child abuse prevention organization and an adolescent education facility. All based in CA which allows me to visit and see what's being done with the funds.

I did'nt vote simply coz i've already bought wc for the first time a month or so ago & i added another year which gave me an automatic 2 year sub extending it to 3 years total (including resubbing ODesktp for 2 years), extending any further beyond what i've already subscribed too is in my view not a good idea as i don't know if i'll be struck by lightning in between...lmao... i also buy stuff so i consider i'm sort of do'n my bit tho i need to buy a bit more to make up for my downloads of freebies from members since i'm unable at this time to make stuff

I won't be contributing for a few reasons: i've already renewed WC for the third time (i think) a month or so ago, same for ODNT + lots of other buyings since years and years. Saying that i'm feeling somewhere a bit conned out to did'nt have same privilege as newbees (or whoever can give money for a service which is supposed to be still alive in 2011 or later ...)

Oh sure, you can tell what about the charity action?, though for this, i've already given (and much more then 3 $) in differents Social/Association in my Country and for other Countries also ...

Why wouldn't I want to subscribe ?

For a Brit, it presently costs just over a penny a day. Over a year, it's less than the cost of a Monthly magazine. Forget the fringe benefits, no ads, the browser, subscriber skins, your own personal pages etc..

The point for me, is to support the site, to help keep it active, support it's development, and most importantly, to help keep it accessible to all.

That's really important, it's that level of accessibility that helps enable the skinners of tomorrow, to begin that journey today. It's one of those things that goes beyond business models or value for money.

I don't even know if you can put a price on that, but if you could, I'm willing to bet that it would be more than just over a penny a day.
