From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

Last Friday, I made the first scheduled attempt at a live video chat with the community.  It was largely a test to see if it would work, and what kind of interest there might be in it.  The first show went off largely without a hitch, and a lot of folks showed up to chat and join in on the fun.  I've learned a good bit about what to do and what not to do next time, but now I'm looking for you to evaluate the fledgling effort.

So go ahead, rate the show (1-5, 5 being "Superb!").  If you didn't catch the show live, you can watch the recording here.

I'm kinda surprised at some of the votes I saw on this poll. Yes, it can be improved but the biggest problem was the people that came to watch ( me included ) came unprepared without any questions. Its very hard to just 'talk' for any length of time about a specific topic. So Zoombas gets an A for effort. We could of helped him out more - then again it took me most of the show to figure out how to use ICQ. I will thank Quentin and My Secret for giving me a hand.

I ended up watching the live feed from the front page and having IQC open in Stardock Central. I was surprised I was able to get it to work as well as it did being on dial up connection.
