Gone away, is the blue bird, here to stay is a new bird....

Ah, it's that time of year again.  Time for snowmen, snowball fights, hot chocolate by a roaring fire, Christmas decorations, sleigh rides and more.  Yes, it's Winter at last.

To get the season off to a good start, Stardock Design has put together the Winter Wonderland Suite.

Take a stroll through a snow covered lane and see candy canes, snowmen, and twinkling lights. Winter Wonderland brings back memories of the Holidays of the past, and makes you dream of white holidays. This heart warming suite features a heavily animated whimsical start menu, holiday inspired icons, snowy gadgets and wallpapers to warm your heart.

Winter Wonderland comes with:

  • A WindowBlinds 6 Skin with an animated start menu
  • 2 wallpapers
  • Holiday icons (includes Vista icons)
  • Holiday desktop gadgets (clock & weather)

But how can you get this suite I'm sure you're asking yourself right now?  Between now and January 3rd, 2008, you will get Winter Wonderland FREE with the purchase of any Premium Suite

What if you have already purchased all the Premium Suites?

Good point exactly what I was thinking, Greg...........Zoomba????

Nice suite, by the way

I already own a few suites as well, but would happily buy this one given the chance

You could always buy a suite as a gift for someone else and keep this nice shiny new one

Zoomba, with all due respect, that does not really put us much further forward. How many people here who have got most or all of the suites will buy one as a gift? Some people have actually purchased all the suites that they like so what do they do purchase a suite that they don't really want so they can get this one? I can see the thinking behind this decision but I feel the option of making it a 'stand alone' purchase as well might be a good idea

Man!  how many folks buy every Premium suite that Stardock Designs puts out?
on Dec 04, 2007
It's probably going to work like R.I.P did and you'll be able to purchase it separately once the promotion is over.

Leo . . I see where you (and others) are coming from but I also see it from the other direction for soem of the other "premium" stuff that is given away.  I really would like some stuff to be exclusive to WC or ODNT or new subscribers or old subscribers.

It's cool to be able to say "Oooo sorry . . I know you love my GUI . . but you can't have it.  I had to {do or be something} to get it and it's not available ANYWHERE else."

Damn you and your spiffy-looking skins!

Now I'll have to go home and pick one of the three or four premium suites I don't have yet, because I can't let December go by without my desktop looking like this!

You guys sure know how to make a guy an offer he can't refuse when his pocketbook is already lighter than air!

Does this guy work at Stardock Design now?

OK, but don't let it go too long as Xmas is fast approaching and the goose is getting fat

I don't see why it can't be a premium suite all on it's own, now. then it could still be a "buy one get one free" suite to encourage more purchases. that's what the supermarkets do.
do wish there was a red and green premeium holiday suite though.

oh ya , and you have several suites priced very low.. you might want to specify the price range for purchase w/free suite.
