Every now and then it's interesting to go digging through the archives to see what was happening on the site a year or more ago.

So, what was happening on December 12th, 2006?

Three WinAmp Skins make up all the submissions from 12/12/06

3 skins? Compare that to this year where with only half the day gone, I count 8, with more in the moderation queue waiting to be reviewed. Nice to see things are picking up after the sluggishness that was late 2006/early 2007. Even the news page is more active with skinning goodness now than it was then.

I was debating whether to do WB full time

and wondering if I was gonna have the time and money to buy Christmas last year.

Was also just starting Stargate SG1 last December... final release date.. March 29 07.

As we are so often reminded, what a difference a year makes.

Myself, I had just started thinking about making screenshots. Skinning still no wheres in sight.

This time last year I was still giddy about WB 5, getting JJ Ying's Dreamland and putting out my sixth screenshot Roll 'Em!

To say the least my WC Family has helped and encouraged me to evolve my setups!

It was really fun back then, and one year later guess what, same difference!

Im not sure what skin i was working on .....but i can guarentee that I thought it was kick ass and ultra cool.......now ilook back and think... "WTF was I thinking!?!?!"

Kitty, that's exactly why I posted my crazy looking and rather primative screenshot from a year ago! And the more I look at it, I'm thinking "damn, I had the nerve to post this thing?"
