Here's the Day 42 Update for the WinCustomize Charity/Subscription Drive.

  • Subscriptions: 1,102 (55.10% of goal)
  • Charity Dollars Raised: $3,644.24 (72.88% of total)

Just two more days left!  The whole thing wraps up at the end of the day Friday, so be sure to get your subscription/skin purchase in now before time runs out!  I would love to hit at least the 75% mark on the Charity total by the end of the day Friday.  That means at least 105.76 needs to be raised between now and then.  I think we can do it.  Lets get this drive wrapped up on a good note!

Featured Charity Skins

Master skinners were asked if they wanted to donate a portion of their skins to the charity drive this year.  We already looked at vStyler's contributions, as well as work from adni18, SK Originals   Today, lets look at a few more Master Skins.

Knot Vista by I.R. Brainiac

If you're familiar at all with I.R. Brainiac's work, you know he goes for a very tactile and real look to his skins, using textures a lot instead of just gradients and colors.  Knot Vista is no exception, and is in my opinion the best of his released work (I hear great things about Slider XP... but it's not out yet).

Knot Vista goes for a lacquered & polished wood look with a metallic trim.  You will be hard pressed to find a more stylized skin than this!

Features:

Knot Vista is a Windows XP skin, and available for just $4.95

Relent by brewman

Another of our first Master Skins, Relent is an XP/Vista compatible skin from community veteran brewman.  It's a great, simple skin that recolors very well.

Relent comes with:

  • WindowBlinds skin with 2 XP substyles
  • Animated Start Button
  • AVI Animations
  • Toolbar Icons
  • Per-pixel Frames, Taskbar and Start Panel
  • 4 Wallpapers

Relent is available for just $4.95, and is an excellent choice to round out your Master Skin collection.

Challenger by treetog

Our very first Master Skin comes from renowned skinner treetog, whose work can be found now in a great number of Stardock Design projects.  Challenger, which comes with a full compliment of XP and Vista features, was inspired by the Space Shuttle Challenger.  Originally meant as a test of the Master Skin idea, this has gone on to be one of our most popular skins.

Available for $4.95, it's an essential addition to any treetog skin collection.

If Zoomba posts the names of everybody that takes out a subscription during this period, I'll put those names into a prize drawer and the winner can choose up to $20.00 worth of prize(s) from this site.

Sorry, but I can't post names (or user names of customers).  If people want to do this on their own though, they're welcome to it!

That works fine - it's Xmas, pretty much anything can be made to work fine, apart from the English Football team

So subscribe/re-subscribe, buy a featured charity skin in this final period and give yourself a big shout out here.....

Your name will be added to the draw.
