From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

If you're putting on the finishing touches to your 3d masterpiece for the Create Your Alienware Dream contest, you had best get a move on, clean up those last few frames and get to uploading.  You only have two days left!  Two days to get that Dream perfected for your shot at the $3,000 Alienware Area-51 7500 Desktop Gaming PC.

Submission Deadline: December 31st, 11:59pm EST

(Don't wait until the last second though, you don't want to hit an upload error and lose your chance at winning)

In the past week or so, we've seen a surge in submissions and now there are 17 qualifying Dreams.  Is yours one of them?

Judging will take place the first week of January, winners will be selected by a panel fo judges from WinCustomize, Stardock and Alienware.  May the best Dream win!

Does anyone know if we UPDATE a dream with a new .dream upload, will that update in the contest or am I stuck with the first entry for the contest?

so long as the update is submitted by the deadline, you're fine.  Updates have to go through moderation too, so it may be a little bit before the update appears on the site.

After the deadline, no more updates.  If you update after the deadline, you're disqualified since you're overwriting the last qualifying upload.

Does the update have to be moderated by the deadline or just uploaded?

Just uploaded.  I know I don't intend to be watching the queue for submissions on New Years Eve.  I have a date

Huang I think you need to take it easy do you hate the guy or something? I mean if he wants to enter let him and let stardock disqualify him. They've already said they will if you had read the answers to your own forum. Just chill it's not a big deal.
