From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands

Over time, the upload process has grown in complexity.  Every time we add a new gallery, new rules and exceptions come up that have to be wrestled with by users and moderators alike.  It quickly becomes difficult to keep track of and even the most attentive user could miss a rule or guideline here or there.

One of our newest moderators, Quentin94, took the initiative to supplement our WinCustomize Guide article series with an article detailing, on a gallery-by-gallery basis, the file requirements for each and every gallery on the site.  File extensions, contents, preview guidelines and more are spelled out in detail.

This is a must-read for every skinner looking to submit content to WinCustomize.

It shouldn't surprise me . . but here is one more example of a member of the community seeing a need and then stepping up and filling it.

Thanks Quinten Quetnin Q

I need to read this one carefully..... as I don't enjoy an entire day of re-uploading due to a preview shot being the wrong size!
