Ok, you've got Deskscapes 2.0, you've gone through some of the great free content we have on the site, but you still want more.  You want something a little more fancy, with a little more polish than you can normally get.  And maybe you want to play with those Dynamic Dreams, the ones that use far less CPU and RAM to run.  If so, here are some Dreams for you to consider:

Dynamic Dreams

Winter Snow

Snowflakes drift down your screen and settle on your start bar
Photo Dream

Your photos glide across the desktop, switching at set intervals, rotating etc.
Liquid Dream

With more features than Water Dream, Liquid lets you change sky images, comes with more background patterns and additional performance settings
Desktop Collage

Your photos are laid out on your desktop one by one, as if laid out on a table in front of you.  As new photos are placed, older ones fade to black-and-white in the background.
Desktop Earth

Watch the Earth rotate and shift the day/night cycle real-time
Expanding Shapes

Circles slowly expand across your desktop as the background color gradually changes

Video Dreams

Edge if Eternity

Glide through the clouds as the sun peeks through.  A calm and soothing video dream.
Good Night Earth

Watch a 3/4 view of the Earth as it slowly rotates on your desktop (no real-time effects)
Liquid Granite

A rippling golden liquid slowly rolling across the desktop
Blissful Dream

This is the Dream that Microsoft showed off at the 2007 CES keynote debuting Animated Wallpapers for Windows Vista

Stellar Dream

A beautiful space scene with a slowly rotating planet and twinkling star field

All of them are great, but I think my two personal favorites are the Snow and Blissful .dreams.

I just bought Shapes! Very cool stuff!

The description of blissful Dream needs to be edited.  It says that Vista Ultimate is required.  Well guess what?  It ain't so anymore!!

Desktop Earth is free for all users of Object Desktop. That being the case, everyone currently using the beta should have installed it already.

Hi, just purchased Blissful Dream and Stellar Dream and while both are very nice I am a bit disappointed at the resolution of both. I am using a 22” WS LCD at 1680X1050 and both seem lost in the middle of the screen surrounded by a big black boarder. If I was aware of the small size of these I probably would not have purchased them. Oh well back to Desktop Earth.

Regards

If I was aware of the small size of these

At the bottom of your desktop window where you choose the dream you want to run, there should be a choice to stretch the desktop to fit, mine is the box to the left.

So it works just like a normal wallpaper, neat.

Thanks

I could use some direction. I'm running Vista Ultimate with the following specs:

Intel core2 quad 2.40ghz
2gig mem
32-bit
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS (newest drivers)

I've downloaded and installed Deskscapes 2.0 and I can run the dynamic dreams just fine
but the video dreams just make my background black with no visuals. I've purchased blissful and stellar dream but can make any use of them.

Much thanks for the help
