Poll Results: More Galleries

Less is more it seems.

Last week, as a follow-up to the poll regarding a cell phone theme gallery, I asked what everyone's feelings were on adding new galleries in general versus focusing in more on the galleries we already have. The results of the poll were pretty clear and help explain the results of the cell phone theme poll.

The results were 2:1 for focusing on our existing galleries before adding anything new.

One thing I'd like to know is if you folks have ideas on how we could be focusing more on what we already have (short of code or layout changes, those are coming, but not for a few months). Contests? More regular features of great skins from each gallery? I'm open to ideas here.

I think sending Pizza to the mods would spread great amounts of community feeling.

Oh wait I should read the question before responding..

Seriously.

I think Contests, if run too often, would dwindle in people being interested in participating. Tho we could really use another GUIO

Without changing the site around coding etc, I'm not sure how to focus more on the current libraries.

I will have to think about this..
