I love long weekends
Published on March 25, 2008 By Zoomba In WinCustomize News

Good morning folks!  After a glorious 4-day weekend, we're back at it once again.  And since it's the first day of the work week, it's time for me to round up what I think are the best skins submitted over the weekend.  This time we have 4 full days to choose from, so lets get started...

It was a great weekend for Wallpapers.  This week I'd like to welcome back Inception 8 to WinCustomize after a 4 year hiatus.  Looking at his gallery of work on his personal page is probably one of the greatest examples of improvement over time.  His wallpapers were good before, but they're in a different league altogether now.

You've got some good picks.  Some of those walls make better art than walls for me.  I use the desktop to sort like projects and my icons would get very lost.

Thanks for making the picks.

I think the first of the three Inception 8 walls works well with the space on the left for icons etc.  The other two are just great to look at

Agreed!!   And it's not like anything I've made even comes close!

ZubaZ bows down to the artists that contribute to WC . . I am not worthy.

The motivating (for me) idea has always been that a desktop can be a piece of artwork much the same way you would view a painting on a wall in an actual gallery. You don't have to have icons on your desktop that's why there's menus and docks. Thanks though.
