Killer Gadget: Vista Sidebar Video Player

Sometimes someone makes a gadget that's just so useful and cool that I have to feature it here on the front page. MikeB314 yesterday put up just such a gadget.

Sidebar Player is a video player for the Windows Vista Sidebar that lets you load in any online streaming video feed and watch it either on your sidebar directly, or expand it to a larger window on your desktop.

Originally made to watch NASA TV, you can sub in any video stream, or play local audio/video files.

Probably the coolest Sidebar gadget I've seen yet!

Excellent, excellent, excellent gadget.
The interface is very well done and the included channels are great, plus you can add custom URL's, it's just my second TV now.
