From technology to politics to video games; these are the random thoughts of a geek with too much time on his hands
Do you miss them?

This weeks poll is about Podcasts.  More specifically, Under The Skin and PowerUser.TV, two podcasts largely supported by Stardock and very targeted at either skinners or tech users in general.  PowerUser.TV officially went "off the air" December 2006, and Under The Skin hasn't seen a new episode since October of the same year.

What I'm wondering right now is, are they missed?  Did folks in the community listen regularly, and if they did, did they like what they heard?

If you have any thoughts on the old podcasts, or if you'd love to see something come back and have ideas, post them in the comments below!

Results, as usual, next week.

Well I voted, not sure it will help or hurt your survey. I'm probably the last person on earth that hasn't listened to a podcasts or is it that I'm not sure what a podcast is. I view and listen to ID's posts that he puts ups in the forums. Are those considered podcasts?

I liked DoctorNick and CerbroJd's Under the Skin podcast more than the PowerUser.tv but both were fun.
I'd happily support and assist in future endeavors.

For anyone who wants to go back and listen: UTS
Good times.

Under The Skin was definitely fun. Would love to see that come back with the live call-ins. It was and still remains the only podcast I ever subscribed to and I 'hate' anything to do with opening and running iTunes.

I only listened to the Poweruser ones, but not even every time. Most of the time it was subjects I had already articles about which made it rather pointless to listen. It was fun often to hear Brads off the cuff remarks and anyone else, but in the end it was just repetition and nothing new.
