The gear-heads over at ExtremeTech have taken a look at Object Desktop 2008, the most recent snapshot of Stardock's suite of windows customization tools.  Jason Cross runs down the full set of tools in Object Desktop; WindowBlinds, DeskScapes, IconPackager, SoundPackager, DesktopX and MyColors.  Of particular note is MyColors, the newest addition to the Object Desktop family.

Each of the applications gets its own full-page description & review.  Positive points in the review include stability & compatibility of the ODNT tools with Windows & major applications, a much more polished look-and-feel to the applications, and the availability of a massive amount of free content here at WinCustomize.com

Also of note is that the first quarter or so of the weekly ExtremeTech Podcast is about Object Desktop 2008.  After reading the review, give the show a listen as Jason and Loyd Case talk a little bit more about the software, and give a few of their personal opinions.

Is it just me that I haven't seen Stardock product reviews or are they happening more often?

I read the comments that were left (7), a couple liked it, one just couldn't see it as necessary.

Question, can't get the podcast to work, is it an Impulse thing?

Oh, and congratulations on a very nice review.
