Since November is upon us, it's time to turn to the WinCustomize Moderation team to see what their personal favorites were among all skin submissions in October. Here's what everyone chose Brio XP by Night Train (WB) "This blind is well designed and easily re-colored. Great work and definitely "a keeper". -Hankers I love color by LanangJagad (Xion) "It's always interesting to see the different interfaces people come up with. This X...

The first weekend of the WinCustomize Charity/Subscription drive has now passed and it's time to review the numbers. After just four days, we've already gained a lot of ground towards meeting our $5,000 charity and 2,000 subscription goal. Response to what we're doing has also been great and I've got a pile of emails from people all over the community asking how they can help out more. I am humbled by the generosity you all have shown. It's the people on this site, and h...
New poll time! Last week we kicked off the WinCustomize Charity/Sub Drive asking the members of the community to not only support the site, but also help support a great cause (Childs Play). So far the reception has been outstanding, with people really stepping up and helping both the site and the Childrens Hospital of Michigan. This week's poll is asking if you've taken part yet in this year's drive. If you haven't, will you? If you're still on the fence, or if you...
Last week I asked what type of "show" you'd most like to see on WinCustomize Live, the live streaming video show we have in the works. I threw a few ideas on the poll to pick from, as well as the ever-popular "Other" option for folks who had their own ideas. Well, since the new week has begun, it's time to put that poll to bed and start a new one. For those interested, here are the results from the Show Idea poll... in pretty-picture-format as always. If you voted "Other...
Today, we've got another great Master Skin for everyone to check out. Vision Theme by adni18 is a DesktopX theme that adds a very functional and clean sidebar to your Windows PC. This is perfect if you're an XP user and want some of the utility of the Vista sidebar without going through the upgrade process. Heck, if you're a Vista user this is a pretty good theme to check out since it looks ten times better than the default bar with Vista. Another great Master Skin from ad...
Welcome back skinners to yet another work week. We've moved on from Halloween and the spooky skins and are now looking towards Thanksgiving and Christmas. This weekend we got some great skins that you should definitely take a peek at if you have a free moment. ...
